The Mike Johnson Memorial Walk for Recovery
Please join us in celebrating recovery! The Mike Johnson Memorial Walk for Recovery is a Kansas City Area event including a 5k (3 mile) stroll in and around some of KC's Power & Light and Crossroads areas followed by live entertainment, family fun activities and guest speakers in Washington Square Park. This is a family friendly & pet friendly event (but please clean up after Fido). Bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax and enjoy the fesivities, featuring live Zydeco music! Lot's of fun for the kids too!

Wheelchair accessable porta potties will be on site in Washington Square Park. The walk route is not a closed course, police officials will be on site directing walkers. Public sidwalks will be used and streets will be open for traffic durring the walk.
